Howard J. Dean 1917 – 2015

I first met Howard some thirty plus years ago. I was never a real close friend but often saw Howard at our monthly club meetings and of course Bottle Shows across the Northeast. I have enclosed the information that was used when Howard was inducted into the FOHBC Hall of Fame. Reading this I believe everyone will see that the hobby has lost a great ambassador.

Howard did so much for the hobby for so long. I would like to look a bit past the hobby to tell you I never met a better person. Howard loved to talk to people and I never heard him speak badly about anyone. He was a glass half full kind of man. He often spoke of his family and how proud he was of them. He developed strong friendships for life. Jon Landers, one of Howards best friends, supplied me with the Hall of Fame information I have included. Jon and Howard were digging bottles together until Howard was 94 years old. Jon truly has been a great friend to Howard. Please post the information so all can see what he has done. Services will be held Monday the 16th between 12am and 2pm at the Westernville NY Church.
