This hotel/show is open to EVERYBODY! You don’t have to collect fruit jars to appreciate and enjoy the talks, displays, and the company. So many of us fruit jar collectors collect other types of bottles too, so you’ll likely know lots of folks, or make new friends. It’s always fascinating to learn about new categories of collecting through seeing another collector’s passion.

And all the events are FREE! (Except for the hotel room charge). We’ll even feed you lunch and dinner. So come for one day – or all of them!

Congratulations to Bill from all of us in the Findlay Bottle Club! This blurb was in the Augusta Chronicle today, where Bill writes a Fishing column:

BAAB HONORED: Most outdoor minded Augustans recognize Bill Baab as the author of The Augusta Chronicle 's popular fishing report that runs each Friday. What some of you might not know is that he is also one of the region's best experts on antique bottles, which he has collected for more than 40 years. On June 24, he was inducted into the Federation of Historical Bottle Collectors Hall of Fame during the group's national show. Baab joined the federation in 1996. He and his wife, Bea, self-published three books on Augusta bottles. He retired as outdoor editor and sports writer from The Chronicle in 2000 after 36 years.
